One-Day Fence Replacement & Boundary Clearance

Project Overview

A homeowner asked ARRT Group to replace a failing boundary fence and clear overgrown vegetation at the rear of their property. The brief was clear: improve privacy and security, tidy the outdoor space, and install a neat, low-maintenance timber fence — all within a single working day and a budget of £1,500.

When we arrived on site, the rear boundary was in a poor state:

• Old concrete posts and wire mesh fencing leaning and badly damaged
• Dense, overgrown shrubs and branches pushing through from the neighbouring side
• Trip hazards and accumulated waste across the paved area, making the space feel dark, cluttered and difficult to use

Our Solution

In one working day our landscaping team completed the full scope of works:

• Cut back and removed overgrown vegetation along the full boundary line
• Removed the damaged concrete posts, wire mesh fencing and all waste from site
• Installed new pressure-treated timber posts set in concrete for long-term stability
• Fitted closeboard fence panels for a strong, secure and attractive boundary
• Checked levels and alignment throughout to create a straight, even fence run
• Cleaned down the working area so the patio could be used again immediately
